The Notifex Control Unit and Pager for Wireless or Direct-Wired Sensors

This Control Unit - Pager combination gives you a system for secure monitoring of whatever you need to keep track of. When combined with whichever sensor(s) you choose, this unit provides you the secirity of knowing that you will get immediately and privately paged when a sensor is activated. (Click here for an explanation of how the NOTIFEX System works.) This system also gives you the convenience of wireless communication between the sensor and the Control Unit.

With this NOTIFEX system you easily monitor any space, individual, or situation. When a sensor (see below) is activated, your pager receives a signal and alerts the user. With this Wireless Sensor capable model, you have a choice whether you want the sensor to signal the Transmitter Control Unit ("TCU") over a wire, or with a wireless link. Since the entire NOTIFEX System is completely modular, any sensor can be wireless or can be direct-wired. If you want your TCU to be able to use either direct wired or wireless sensors, this is the NOTIFEX model for you.

The TCU, when it is notifed to by a sensor, sends an encoded signal to the pager. The signal from the TCU to the pager can reach distances of well over a mile (see further info in FAQs).

The System is easy to set up and use: no programming, no menus. Just plug it in and it’s ready to use to ensure safety and peace of mind.

Direct-wired sensors use a small gage cable ( like the one that connects your phone to the wall-jack) between the sensor and the TCU. When you buy this model NOTIFEX, the sensors can use communicate with the TCU using a Wireless Module and/or cable. Sensors come in a variety of functions and sizes (Click here for information about sensors.) Sensors are provided with about 10 feet of cable; additional cable lengths are available. The TCU is about 7" x 6" x 2" .

Because the System is entirely modular, you can use any sensor or combination of sensors you choose. Sensors can be either Direct-wired or wireless. Wireless sensors require a Wireless capable TCU (the model sold on this page), and, (except for the Pushbutton Sensor) a Wireless Module. [When you buy sensor(s), you will be asked whether you want a Direct-wired or a Wireless sensor. If you specify a Wireless sensor, you will get a Wireless Module with that sensor.]

This model is a Control Unit and Pager combination. You must purchase a sensor as well for this system to function.
