FLOOR PAD SENSOR
How It Works
Pressure sensitive pad – signals when about 15-20 lbs. is applied.
The Floor Pad signals the NOTIFEX SYSTEM to send a page. (Sensors like the Floor Pad do not work independently - they are input to the Notifex System.)
When to Use
Any location where you know where someone will step or stand.
Examples:
- Next to bedside
- At a front or back door
- In front of desk or counter
- At the door to a room
- Under a welcome mat
Installation: Lays on floor at location. Works fine either on top of or under carpet. (If on top of carpet or directly on floor, best with a mat or throw rug over it.) Dimensions: 23" x 17"
Notes
Cleans easily with ordinary household cleaners. Waterproof.

What is the difference between a "wired" and "wireless" sensor? This describes whether there is a wire connecting the sensor to the Control Unit. Sensors use the optional Wireless Module to communicate with the Control Unit without wires. Click here for more information on how the system works.
